Ⅰ、Line connection between amplifier and audio system

1、Pay attention to power supply: Audio equipment should have a dedicated power supply and standard voltage, and should be separated from the power supply of lighting. After having a dedicated power supply, it is also necessary to have a stable and reliable power socket, and it is possible to use a "power sequencer" as much as possible. Although the cost increases, it improves stability and usability. In short, it is crucial to correctly and securely connect the power supply of all audio equipment. Another point to note is that some imported equipment may have 110V and 220V selection switches in the power supply section. In China, it is necessary to confirm that the selection is in the 220V position before connecting and powering on.

2、 Pay attention to the length of signal lines: When connecting equipment, try to use shorter signal lines to save costs and reduce line resistance and interference. Under normal circumstances, signal lines using balanced transmission methods can reach a maximum length of about 300 meters, while unbalanced lines cannot be used for long-distance transmission. The signal line of the amplifier should be balanced as much as possible. If there are multiple amplifiers in the system, it is best to use a signal amplification distributor to separate a sufficient number of signal lines without attenuation for each amplifier to use separately. This can reduce system noise, reduce hidden dangers, and improve signal-to-noise ratio.

3、The quality of speaker cables: Try to use thicker and shorter all copper dedicated speaker cables. When connecting, be sure to distinguish the positive and negative poles and avoid short circuits, especially for professional four core or more speaker plugs. The few terminals inside are very small, so be careful when wiring.

4、Pay attention to equipment grounding: It is very important to correctly connect the ground wire to all audio equipment. Good grounding can reduce interference in equipment signal transmission and improve equipment stability. It should be noted that the grounding wire should be made according to the grounding standards of lightning protection wires. The conductors buried underground should be rust proof, have good contact, and be buried deep. They should not be shared with the grounding wire configured for three-phase power lines. This not only does not reduce noise in the sound system, but also easily damages the equipment.

5、Pay attention to signal inversion and short circuits: Short circuits in signal lines often cause silent faults, which can be very troublesome to check. Unless each signal line is removed and tested with a multimeter, special care should be taken when welding the lines.
